Job Opportunity: Program Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Program Officer in Procurement and Grants Management.

  • This role is responsible for providing direct support to the Procurement and Grants Management team through effective business operations and strategic management.
  • The successful candidate will be involved in the grant application process, including arranging assessment panels and providing relevant administrative support.
  • They will also be required to provide expert advice and high-quality customer service to grant applicants and recipients on contract procedures, funding requirements, and effective service delivery standards.
  • Additionally, they will develop and maintain accurate records, trackers, and reports, and respond to external stakeholder inquiries regarding funding applications and contract progression.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in grants administration or program support is essential.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • They must also be able to rapidly acquire knowledge of relevant Queensland Government legislation, policies, procedures, and frameworks as it relates to contract management, procurement, and grants administration.
