Senior Home Care Worker Position

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Senior Home Care Worker to provide client-centred care to individuals in their homes. The successful candidate will assist with everyday tasks, companionship, medication and social support as well as some office-based responsibilities.
About the Role:
- Provide friendly companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Assist with medications and personal cares
- Assist with household tasks such as light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping
- Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities
- Encourage independence and well-being in a home environment
- Participate in the review of client care plans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
- Train and mentor Home Care Workers
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or higher
- HLTHPS006: Assist Clients with Medication
Additional Requirements:
The selected candidate will be required to obtain:
- A First Aid and CPR qualification
- A current Police Check
