We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer with contaminated lands expertise to join our Sydney-based team.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement treatability studies for remediation and industrial wastewater treatment.
  • Collaborate with clients to design process systems for industrial wastewater management.
  • Characterize, assess, and manage trade waste streams at industrial sites.
  • Conduct PFAS site investigations at aviation sites and evaluate remediation technologies and develop action plans.
  • Investigate industrial fire systems for PFAS impact and develop transition processes for firefighting foam.
  • Analyze data from remediation and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Oversee field operations and sampling for industrial maintenance projects, focusing on PFAS at aviation sites.
  • Contribute to complex remediation and environmental engineering projects for industrial and government clients nationally.
  • Collaborate on small to medium-sized projects and larger initiatives in development.
  • Provide consulting support and advice to multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
  • Develop technical presentations for clients and conferences.
  • Pursue professional growth through participation in global communities of practice and industry events.
  • Support business development through proposal preparation and bid writing.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated qualifications in chemical or process engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in engineering and/or consultancy environments.
  • Experience managing stakeholders, providing technical guidance, and conducting field activities.
  • Strong technical writing skills, including proposal and report writing.
  • Defence sector and PFAS experience is highly valued.
