Role Description

As a Senior Remediation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing remediation plans, overseeing project implementation, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your comprehensive background in construction and deep understanding of building materials, structural elements, and hydraulic systems will be beneficial in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site assessments and investigations to identify areas requiring remediation.
  • Design and implement remediation plans, taking into account technical knowledge of materials, construction methods, and structural analysis.
  • Oversee the implementation of remedial actions, ensuring compliance with regulations and building codes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including drafters, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct quality assurance and control reviews to maintain the highest standards of performance and safety.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering Civil/Structural or Diploma of Building and Construction (or similar).
  • Minimum 6 years' remedial and/or structural engineering experience, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of regulations and building codes.
  • Strong technical knowledge of materials, construction methods, and structural analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing.
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and be a team player.
