Project Coordinator

We're seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with a strong background in Subdivisions and Earthmoving to join our team on major civil projects in Newcastle & Central Coast, NSW.

This role involves overseeing daily site activities, coordinating subcontractors and labour, interpreting construction drawings, and ensuring all works are completed in accordance with safety, environmental and quality procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily site operations focusing on Subdivision and Earthmoving activities
  • Manage subcontractors and labour on-site to ensure project timelines and quality standards
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Ensure all works are completed in accordance with safety, environmental and quality procedures
  • Liaise with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate site records and progress reports
  • Lead toolbox talks and ensure team compliance with OHS regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Subdivision - Earthmoving works on civil infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of safety and quality standards in construction
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • White Card and relevant tickets/certifications required
  • Full Australian working rights

  • Development and maintenance of strong stakeholder relationships
  • Identification and mitigation of risks on the project
