We are currently seeking an experienced NOC Engineer to play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and stability of our network services.
Key Responsibilities:- Continuously monitor network infrastructure and services for performance, availability, and stability issues.
- Respond promptly to alerts, assess the severity of events, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related incidents and customer faults within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate critical incidents and escalate them to higher-level support teams as required.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders and customers regarding incident updates and resolutions.
- Provide accurate updates in the incident tracking tool.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to minimize the likelihood of recurring incidents.
- Assist with network maintenance, upgrades, impact analysis, and planned changes to ensure minimal operational disruption.
- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, preferably in technical roles involving network management, equipment configuration, and fault resolution.
- The ability to monitor voice network systems (VoIP, SIP, PBX) using Network Management System (NMS) tools and ticketing platforms.
- Experience in configuring and supporting voice hardware (routers, switches, SBCs, IP phones).
- Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager, Avaya, Asterisk, and Genesys platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting skills on packet analysis, call flow tracing, and fault isolation.
- An in-depth understanding of network operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- The ability to respond effectively to network incidents and implement sustainable solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address operational challenges.
- Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- The ability to work in a dynamic, challenging environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
