Job Opportunity

The purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of a critical Technology Stream within our broader business transformation strategy. This 12-month day rate contract will provide an opportunity for an experienced leader to make a significant impact on our technology services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of assigned Technology Stream, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality outcomes are met.
  • Manage the transition of support services from incumbent vendors to our new Strategic Partner, mitigating risks and ensuring continuity of operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners) to align activities, resolve issues, and maintain program momentum.
  • Provide leadership, oversight, and direction to team members and workstreams, ensuring alignment with the broader Transformation Strategy.
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks, and dependencies to the Technology & Business Unit Leadership, escalating critical issues as required to maintain program execution.
Requirements:

This role requires a strong track record of delivering major technology, business, or service transition programs that have required significant change across people, process, and culture. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Accreditation from PMI (PMP) or AIPM (CPM or CPPD) or equivalent highly regarded.
  • A proven ability to thrive in dynamic environments, applying advanced strategic planning and project management skills to deliver results under pressure across multiple methodologies (Agile/Hybrid).
  • Highly skilled at influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, vendors, and partners, building trust and alignment at all levels.
  • Leadership skills that inspire teams, foster flexibility, and keep momentum strong through complexity and change.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing teams, building capability and uplifting project delivery maturity.
