About the RoleThis key position involves implementing Occupational Health and Safety strategies, systems, and initiatives. You will ensure project compliance with relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, and Australian Standards.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a Safe Work Method Statement register; review and update Project SWMS with staff.
- Prepare and distribute health and safety reports.
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and compliance registers.
- Participate in site inspections and Safety Management System reviews.
- Experience in rail and related infrastructure disciplines.
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Incident Investigation certification (ICAM/Root Cause or equivalent).

About the ProjectHumeLink East involves expanding the Bannaby 500 kV substation and constructing 230 km of new 500 kV double circuit transmission line, connecting Bannaby at the Wondalga interface with HumeLink West.
