Job Title:
Health, Safety and Quality Lead
The role of a Health, Safety and Quality Lead involves leading the development and implementation of health, safety and quality management systems while maintaining compliance with internal/external audit programs.
Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring operations managers/supervisors and other HSE advisors in the development and implementation of safety, compliance, training and auditing systems. You will also identify emerging issues and communicate them to operations managers/supervisors and HSEQ manager.
You will participate in site-based activities when on-site, including meetings, Safe Act Observation, JSA's, training and inspections. Additionally, you will facilitate/participate in comprehensive investigations (ICAM or other) through to completion and contribute to the physical and mental health of employees through wellness initiatives.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Health and Safety is required.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within a large and diverse organization.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is essential.
- Excellent computer skills are required.
- Exposure to HSE computer systems (Rapid, ASNA, SharePoint, Noggin, INX etc) is necessary.
- Ability to maintain quality - 9001 quality system is required.
- High attention to detail and ability to plan effectively and work to deadlines while managing conflicting priorities is essential.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport is preferred.
