Network Infrastructure Expert

A senior-level position is available for an experienced engineer with expertise in designing, managing, and maintaining internet gateways and large-scale data center networks.
Key Requirements- At least five years of experience in the design, management, and maintenance of internet gateways and/or large-scale data center networking environments.
- Design of services utilizing F5/Blue Coat Layer 4-7 switching/load balancing and proxy systems.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and IPS solutions; design and implementation of VPN technologies, email, and DNS (Infoblox) solutions.
- Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies and the ASD Information Security Manual.
This contract opportunity offers a chance to work on various projects, gain experience, and develop skills in designing and implementing hybrid and public cloud services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on system architecture and design documentation, as well as contribute to the development of new solutions.
Contract Details- Estimated start date: Saturday, 01 November 2025.
- Initial contract duration: 12 Months.
- Extension term: Up to 24 Months (maximum).
- Location: ACT.
- Working arrangements: Hybrid (minimum of 3 days per week).
- Maximum hours: 40 hours per week.
- Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1.
