Financial Management and Business Analysis Expertise

Are you a highly skilled professional with experience in IT financial management, pricing, data modelling & analysis, statistical modelling? We are seeking talented individuals to join our team as Financial Management and Business Analysis Experts.

About the Role
  • We welcome applications from experienced candidates who have demonstratable expertise in areas such as budgeting, forecasting, market comparisons;
  • Partnering with teams on financial analysis, modelling and consulting on end-to-end costing of ICT projects and systems implementation;
  • Conducting pricing analysis and developing complex models to support supplier evaluations, negotiations, and scenario modelling;
  • Providing assurance over financial models, including cost estimates, budgets and forecasts; Review and improve financial processes and governance by identifying disconnects, redesigning workflows, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance cost transparency and accountability; and
  • Develop statistical and financial data models, perform analysis and visualisation and translate data into insights that support commercial and investment decisions.
Professional Background
  • At least 2 years' experience in an internal or external consulting environment or technology supplier focusing on financial management, commercial modelling and business analysis.
  • An understanding of technology finance and / or pricing mechanisms.
Requirements
  • Superior communication and time management skills;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data and translate it to digestible information for senior stakeholders;
  • Advanced Excel modelling (including Power Query) and Power Point skills;
  • Data visualisation skills using tools such as Power BI;
  • Experience with Python and/or Python-in-Excel;
  • Qualifications - Undergraduate degree, with one of the following disciplines: Finance, Business Management / Commerce, Information Technology, Actuarial / Statistics, Computer / Data Science, Economics or Engineering;
  • CA or CPA qualifications are highly desirable;
  • Must hold Australian Citizenship and be able to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
