Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned labour relations expert to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with our business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute labour relations strategies that drive business results
- Foster collaborative relationships with union representatives and stakeholders
- Lead collective bargaining negotiations and manage workplace issues
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on implementing projects and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations
- Track and analyse key employee and labour relations metrics
- Represent the company in interactions with labour authorities and external stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in industrial relations, preferably in a large organisation
- Exceptional leadership, influencing, and communication skills
- Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with multiple functional partners
Negotiation Skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Able to manage and resolve complex employee relations matters
Liaising
- Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
