Clinical Governance and Education Lead

Job Description:

The Clinical Governance and Education Lead is responsible for driving the design and implementation of clinical education programs that align with Montefiore's strategic vision. The primary focus of this role is to lead, support, and educate staff on clinical topics, promote a culture of learning and development, and foster system-wide improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical education programs across three Sydney-based locations
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to address clinical risks through education and training
  • Oversee safe medication management and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Work collaboratively with the L&D department to implement the clinical education strategic plan
Requirements:
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience within aged care and minimum 3 years' experience as a trainer/educator
  • Ability to prepare, deliver, and evaluate clinical education programs
  • Strong research and analysis skills, with knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice guidelines
