Senior Full Stack Developer

Join our team and take on the role of a senior full stack developer at XPT Software. We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in Sydney.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary package.

  • We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with considerable years of experience in developing applications using the .NET framework, strong expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework for building scalable backend systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Service Bus.
  • They should be proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases such as SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of frontend development best practices, UI/UX considerations, and responsive design is also essential.
  • Experience working in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration is necessary.

As a senior full stack developer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and developing scalable and maintainable backend systems using .NET Core and Entity Framework.
  2. Integrating with relational databases such as SQL Server and other third-party services.
  3. Developing RESTful APIs and implementing authentication and authorization protocols.
  4. Working closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and smooth project delivery.
  5. Participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and other agile processes.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in developing applications using the .NET framework.
  • Strong expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Proficient in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with relational databases such as SQL Server.
