New Product Launch Coordinator

As a Key Player in New Product Launches, you will bridge the gap between product formulation and production.

In this pivotal role, you'll guide the journey of new products from managing procurement of packaging materials to developing sales strategies that put the product out to market.

You'll be working closely with internal teams, including production, quality assurance, and purchasing, as well as external partners like freight forwarders and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage packaging design and specifications ensuring all proofs and signoffs are obtained.
  • Oversee new product commercialisation timelines.
  • Attend product launch meetings and track related tasks.
  • Sourcing packaging quotes and suppliers for new products and negotiating pricing for raw materials.
  • Provide key advice on product container sizing and type to optimise freight and manage export logistics.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders to ensure all export requirements and legislation are met.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years + experience in a similar role.
  • Food manufacturing industry experience, commercialisation and food packaging expertise.
  • Export process and procedure knowledge or willingness to learn.
  • Supplier and project coordination skills.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving and solutions identification.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, particularly customer contact via phone and email.
  • Confident decision-making skills.
