Learning Support Professional

The role of the Learning Support Professional is to provide support for students with diverse learning needs in classrooms and other learning environments under the direction of a teacher.
Main duties include supporting student health so they can participate in and access educational programs, working effectively as part of a team, and communicating effectively with students and colleagues.
Candidates should have experience working with students who have emotional, physical or intellectual disabilities, and be aware of their needs. They should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, think critically and solve problems, and maintain accurate records.
