Enterprise Risk Management Lead

This is a senior role in enterprise risk management, requiring strong leadership and communication skills to implement the Group ERM Framework.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional with proven track record in implementing enterprise risk management frameworks.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of risk management best practices and be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

In this critical transitional role, you will lead the integration and implementation of the BMS Group Enterprise Risk Management Framework within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the integration and implementation of the Group-wide risk standards, tools, and governance.
  2. Deliver the agreed implementation plan for the Group-wide risk standards, tools, and governance.
  3. Establish and embed core risk processes to a Business as Usual (BaU) standard, including:
  4. Risk Identification and Assessment
  5. Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs)
  6. Risk Event / Incident Reporting
  7. Risk Registers and Dashboards
  8. Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of risk management best practice and emerging risk management developments within financial services; international risk management experience desirable.
  • Proven experience of developing and maintaining effective working relationships on risk matters with regulators.
  • Experience of operating effectively at senior management level and influencing Board/senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of regulation and legislation requirements.
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Forward thinker and planner, proactive and uses initiative.
  • Adapts and responds well to change and pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Communicates clearly, effectively interacts with others.
