Rigging Team Lead Position

We are seeking an experienced Rigging Team Lead to join our structural and mechanical projects team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rigging activities, including planning, coordination, and supervision of steel erection and project works.

This is a hands-on leadership role where your technical expertise and coordination skills will be key to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective rigging strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Manage rigging inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key rigging outcomes and support the delivery of complex structural and mechanical projects.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous process enhancement.
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of lifting equipment maintenance services.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Rigging Certification and experience in heavy lift projects.
  • Certificate III in Frontline Supervision and strong understanding of structural drawings and complex rigging scenarios.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and support rigging teams and contribute to the development of rigging procedures and standards.
