About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and elevate our guest experience at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World. As a key member of our operations team, you will oversee daily operations and a diverse range of events in our new 280-seat a-la-carte restaurant, with a focus on exceptional service and mentoring the front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and events in the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and a seamless dining experience.
  • Lead and mentor the front-of-house team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service.
  • Closely collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to create a cohesive dining experience, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage budgets, inventory, and labor costs, as well as optimize our reservations department.
  • Coordinate and execute corporate events, ensuring every client's vision is met and exceeded.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or leadership role within high-volume operations.
  • Events management skills with the ability to plan and deliver large-scale events, ensuring professionalism and prioritizing exceptional guest experience.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational attention to detail.
  • A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expertise in training both new hires and ongoing staff development.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
