Collection Center Attendant

We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of our collection center.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving and processing donated materials, maintaining the cleanliness and security of the collection center, and ensuring that all operations run smoothly.

  • Receive and process donated materials in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Safeguard all donated materials and assigned equipment.
  • Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the collection center and surrounding area.
  • Sort and load trailers.
  • Evaluate donations for acceptability.
Responsibilities:

The Collection Center Attendant will perform the following duties:

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Operate various machines and equipment as required.
  • Identify and report any potential safety hazards or issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to team efforts.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
