We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Fassifern Depot team, focusing on maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of prime movers, earthmoving equipment, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve operational efficiency and safety goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Hold a diesel mechanic qualification and have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Possess strong electrical aptitude and experience working with heavy duty equipment.
  • Have experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment.
  • Hold a current driver's license and be able to pass an ASIO/Police clearance.
