Legal Advisor Role

We seek a seasoned legal advisor to support our organisation's operations. As a trusted partner, you will collaborate with leaders across the business to interpret legislation and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Management: Ensure that employment practices adhere to applicable laws and regulations. Proactively identify and manage compliance risks.
  • Advisory Services: Provide strategic guidance on employment law matters, including litigation, industrial relations, and dispute resolution. Offer advice and representation in employment-related disputes.
  • Risk Mitigation: Minimise the risk of underpayments and ensure payroll compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
About This Opportunity
  • Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of post-admission experience (in-house and/or private practice).
  • Strong understanding of employment and industrial relations law, including awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of legal principles and judicial procedures.
  • Proven ability to provide commercial advice and negotiate effectively.
