
Retail People Services Leader

This role is a hybrid position requiring 4 days of in-office work. It involves collaborating with various teams to deliver effective people services and strategies that align with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law, HR principles, and business acumen. They will be responsible for leading a team, coaching Retail leaders on key P&C issues, and fostering connection by putting people first.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing P&C priorities and deliverables to the Retail organisation.
- Leveraging a deep business understanding to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and develop proactive solutions.
- Providing insights and feedback to internal stakeholders, representing the voice of the business to P&C and vice versa.
- Acting as the key business and P&C intermediary, translating business strategy to inform P&C and P&C strategy to inform the business.
- Managing total rewards cycles, including annual merit reviews, bonus programs, promotions, and out-of-cycle requests for the Retail business.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business (HR Management or Organizational Psychology).
- 8+ years of working experience as a manager in full-spectrum HR capacity.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and ability to apply it to various situations.
- Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to enable informed decision-making.
- Experience coaching and developing team capabilities; trusted partner with skills to support leaders to lead from clarity.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and program execution skills.
- Consulting and collaboration skills – skilled at consulting with wide varieties of partners and navigating uncharted territory.
