Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Albany, WA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological. Your primary responsibility will be to support clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client caseloads and develop personalized rehabilitation plans;
  • Conduct assessments and provide clinical expertise to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Collaborate with employers, employees, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Work across various schemes, including workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
  • Assist clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes through a variety of assessments and interventions;
  • Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or Physiotherapy;
  • Registration with AHPRA or ASORC or ESSA or AASW or relevant governing body;
  • Previous experience working in occupational rehabilitation is highly regarded;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role;
  • Strong time management and organizational skills;
  • A current valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
