Automation Systems Specialist

Key responsibilities of the role include developing, supporting and upskilling on current and future toolsets for document automation and matter workflow systems.
- Develop, support and enhance existing automation systems to improve efficiency and reduce friction.
- Act as a technical lead and advocate for automation systems, driving their adoption and continuous improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to design and refine processes that meet client requirements and deliver business value.
- Critically evaluate and streamline business processes to increase quality and efficiency.
- Document solutions to enhance transparency and maintain a well-documented environment.
- Maintain and develop precedents and templates related to automation systems.
- Create and manage automation-related reports using SSRS and PowerBI.
- Train and assist users in enhancing their knowledge of automation systems and associated processes.
- Collaborate with vendors to obtain external support when required.
- Apply strong information security awareness and adhere to firm protocols to mitigate risks.
- Experience in task-based automation and workflow management.
- Proficiency in document assembly and automation platforms.
- Understanding of legal concepts (highly desirable).
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Good organisational and administrative capabilities.
- Excellent literacy and presentation skills.
- SQL, SSRS and PowerBI reporting experience desirable.
- 3 years' experience in law or professional services firms.
