Key Power Systems Engineering Role

Design and build a successful career in the power systems engineering field with this exciting leadership opportunity.

  • This position requires an experienced power systems engineer to lead our team in the development of innovative technical solutions for complex network and grid connection challenges.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of power systems within transmission, distribution, and/or renewable energy sectors and be able to effectively communicate their ideas to both internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage grid connection studies and modelling using industry-standard tools such as PSS/E, PSCAD, and DIgSILENT. Develop and maintain strong relationships with global counterparts and provide technical supervision and mentoring to junior engineers.

A key aspect of this role is staying current on industry trends and National Electricity Rules (NER) technical requirements.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in the power systems engineering field.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and developing innovative solutions.
