Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ICT services and support to staff, both locally and remotely.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify trending ICT issues for resolution and assist with end-to-end IT solution management.
  • Provide ICT support in property-related projects nationally.
  • Contribute to and deliver ICT service projects across the department, including provision of training.
  • Assist with delivery of ICT support and services to senior executive officers, ministers, parliamentary staff, secretary, their staff, and other VIP clients.
  • Manage staff and routine tasks within the DSD Regional Service Management team.
  • Evaluate processes, policies, and tools to ensure they are fit for purpose and seek ways to continually improve efficiency.
  • Support the ICT strategic plan and its key deliverables, including identification of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with and/or manage ICT Major Incident and Problem Management for DSD.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in ICT service delivery in an operational environment utilising the ITIL Service Management Framework.
  • Experience or a broad understanding of project, change, or vendor management practices within an ICT environment.
