Construction Crew Leader Position

This role is focused on overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of various infrastructure projects in public spaces. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams in similar construction environments and a strong understanding of project management principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing field supervision to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborating with technical specialists to plan and execute complex projects.
  • Managing day-to-day site operations, including resource allocation and problem-solving.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate III in Horticulture or equivalent experience in managing operational crews.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in conducting basic survey and set out tasks.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and their application.
  • Experience in quality assurance processes and civil construction environments.

Additionally, desirable qualifications include:

  • Certificate associated with the completion of Safe Working Near Live Exposed Parts training.
  • Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) accreditation under the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
  • Trade-based background in construction, landscape, or carpentry.
