Area Manager

As an Area Manager at Samsung Electronics Australia, you will play a critical role in driving sales and profit targets within the Consumer Electronics Division. Your primary function will be to provide and deploy services to our clients, building and nurturing relationships that establish Samsung as a preferred partner.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of Sales Representatives to execute the merchandising strategy, including in-store merchandising, training, issue resolution, customer inventory control, product returns, and driving range compliance.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to your team, ensuring quality consistency across your area and accountability for their designated territory's performance.
- Manage and influence inventory to limit stock-outs and optimize weeks of stock.
- Deliver high levels of customer service to stores through management and communication of inventory levels, credit claims, spare parts service, logistics, and returned goods procedures for Samsung products.
- Promote product familiarity by training, demonstration, presentations, and instruction.
- Maintain activity records, audit checks, and report on all phases of sales and competitor activity in accordance with management requirements and company procedures.
- 3+ years' experience within a retail or re-seller environment.
- Tertiary education including college Diploma (bachelor's degree preferred) in business, marketing or communications.
- Consumer Electronics industry experience highly regarded.
- A self-starter with exceptional people/leadership skills and an influencing style.
- Proven and successful experience at developing relationships.
- Experience with using multiple forms of information to tailor to hit sales targets.
