Junior Sales Optimization Specialist

A strategic sales optimization opportunity has arisen for a Junior Planner.
The Role- Assist in developing seasonal plans to optimize sales, stock, and profitability through meticulous forecasting and analysis.
- Conduct post-seasonal analysis and recommend sales forecasts and initiatives.
- Maintain item flows and optimize inventory levels for key items.
- Collaborate with Designers on size, colour, and product analysis.
- Review store gridding and allocate stock based on sales data and customer demographics.
- Prepare and present weekly trading meetings with comprehensive reporting and analysis.
- Liaise with senior managers on store needs and stock opportunities.
- Support in managing updates to range plans and monthly forecast reviews.
- Assist in managing orders, quantification adjustments, and size ratio analysis.
- Provide guidance on allocations by store and monitor grids/profiles.
- 2–3 years of experience in allocation or merchandise planning within a retail environment is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
