Plant Mechanic Job Description:

As a skilled plant mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a range of heavy diesel machinery. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all repairs and preventative maintenance meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with your supervisor to guarantee that all work is conducted to a high level of excellence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair heavy diesel machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns
  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure high-quality work results
  • Minimize downtime of machines by implementing efficient solutions

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with heavy diesel machinery
  • OEM experience highly desirable
  • Diagnostic and repair skills essential
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills required
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
