Administrative Support Specialist

People2People is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join a State Government Department in Ballarat. This is an initial 3-month assignment with the potential to extend. The successful candidate will work a rotating shift roster, with a minimum of 3-4 shifts per week, across 7 days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Communications Centre, managing calls and radio communications
- Log equipment failures and escalate issues as needed
- Input data into systems and assist with reporting
- Maintain special event information
- Perform general ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Significant experience in providing administrative support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Previous experience in State Government is highly regarded but not essential
- A valid police check or ability to obtain a national police check
- Must be triple vaccinated or willing to get the third vaccine
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
