Support Worker Opportunity in Mornington

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Worker to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in the Mornington area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to clients with disabilities, adhering to their NDIS plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and medication administration.
  • Implement strategies to promote independence, community participation, and social inclusion.
  • Support clients in accessing various services and activities.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality support services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Disability Support or related field.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Support Worker.
  • Proficient in manual handling techniques and procedures.
  • Competent in providing prescribed medication.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Level 2 support needs level clients.
  • Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and relevant policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and genuine desire to help individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Punctuality and ability to commit to shift rosters.
