The Research Grants and Development Office plays a vital role in supporting high-quality research and researchers by providing comprehensive support services.

  • Assisting researchers in developing high-quality funding proposals, including coordinating major bids.
  • Supporting researchers in meeting their obligations to funders for awarded research grants, via grants administration and mandated reporting.
  • Helping researchers develop skills and knowledge in areas of expertise.

The office is responsible for developing, analysing, and reporting high-quality research management data to inform strategic decision-making.

The Head of Research Grants and Development Office is a key strategic role that oversees the business of research at an institution.

This role involves providing leadership and planning, as well as managing research grants operations, including pre- and post-award processes.
