Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and strategic leader to join our team as a Café Team Leader. The successful candidate will work closely with the Café Manager to drive café operations, foster exceptional customer service, and create a positive working environment for staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by providing attentive support and addressing customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Assist with daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining store standards.
  • Support staff development through effective rostering, training, and performance management strategies.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering and inventory control to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
  • Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally, using active listening skills and empathy.
  • Support promotions and initiatives to drive sales growth and maintain high store standards.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or retail, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Hands-on attitude, with a focus on delivering results and driving business success.
  • Passion for creating positive experiences for customers and colleagues alike.
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills to navigate complex challenges.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, making informed decisions quickly.
  • Barista experience is highly desirable but not essential.
