The Adolescent Unit provides specialized inpatient care for young people struggling with emotional or behavioral difficulties.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to lead group therapy programs designed to address specific needs of adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead group therapy sessions for adolescents with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-harm or suicidal thoughts, attachment/relationship difficulties, school refusal, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and social and behavioral problems
  • Plan, organize, and deliver skills groups to engage young people and promote coping mechanisms, symptom management, and prevention of relapse
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to adolescents
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in mental health and group facilitation
  • Training and experience in therapy modalities, such as CBT and DBT
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and autonomously
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to excellence in delivering healthcare services to adolescents
