Job Opportunity: Data Centre Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Centre Support Professional to join our team. This role involves supporting the Facility Manager with day-to-day operations of data centres.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist with customer equipment installations and ensure compliance with established procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility rules and regulations, adhering to them at all times
  • Demonstrate expertise in cabling needs, electrical and data, to customer racks and areas
  • Respond promptly to Remote Hands Requests
  • Contribute to the maintenance of core electrical and mechanical systems
  • Identify and resolve facility problems in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong background in data centre operations (highly desirable)
  • Hands-on experience with fibre optic cabling installation and maintenance
  • Exceptional customer service skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude
  • TAFE Certificate in Telecommunications or equivalent qualification
  • A-Grade Electrical License (desirable)
