Job Title: System Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled System Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company's infrastructure systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in infrastructure management, server and network administration, and be able to work effectively under pressure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to company directions and processes
  • Design and/or build and maintain the most cost-efficient operational infrastructure
  • Monitor closely and maintain all operating systems
  • Recommend improvements for efficient operation of hardware and software systems
  • Attend promptly to operational needs of the business
  • Continually monitor and review systems operating performance
  • Minimise downtime by actively practising a planned systems maintenance program
  • Maintain a stringent data security and back-up system
  • Provide prompt and efficient support to end-users
  • Key Performance Measures:
  • Response time to managing and resolving issues
  • Internal Customer Satisfaction score
  • Compliance with ITGC standards
  • Volume of Internal Customer complaints
  • Infrastructure downtime
  • Accuracy of design and implementation
  • Project completions, on-time, on-budget

Requirements:

  • Retail tertiary qualification (in infrastructure, science, engineering/technical)
  • Relevant product experience and certifications in systems operated
  • Strong understanding and commitment to compliance processes
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure management, server and network administration
  • Experience of working in a Global Organisation with multi-site and multi-country operations
  • Experience in 100+ user environments
  • Sound networking and communication skills
  • Documentation, filing and administrative skills
  • Business experience and commercial acumen
  • Proactive and responsive
  • A valid driver's licence
