Job Title: System Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled System Infrastructure Specialist to provide exceptional system support services, responding to client problems, proactively monitoring installations, and prioritizing workload based on client SLA requirements.

This role requires adaptability and flexibility, including work outside regular hours and during designated shifts from Tuesday to Saturday each week. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service or technical support roles, with at least 3 years of professional work experience in Linux system and network administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client problems and provide timely resolutions.
  • Proactively monitor installations to prevent issues.
  • Prioritize workload based on client SLA requirements.
  • Analyze complex integrations of network devices, workstations, and servers.
  • Perform database maintenance using SQL statements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or technical support roles.
  • At least 3 years of professional work experience in Linux system and network administration.
  • Proficiency in remote troubleshooting (ssh, VPN tunnels).
  • Knowledge of SQL databases (Sybase, MySQL, postgresql).
  • Microsoft Windows configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Perl, python, shell) and TCP/IP, network security, IPSec, or VPN.
