Job Description

The Clinical Nurse Consultant - Clinical Practice and Standards role is a key position within the Endoscopy Unit, responsible for providing advanced clinical leadership, direction, and change management to facilitate the progression of strategic objectives.

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a crucial role in improving how care is delivered in the Endoscopy Unit, using best practice to support learning, research, and high-quality outcomes.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience with a demonstrated advanced level of clinical expertise in endoscopy nursing, and will be able to provide contemporary leadership that facilitates the ongoing development of clinical practice.

You will also be responsible for developing and implementing associated standards of practice, models of care, relevant service policies, procedures, and guidelines.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation and improve patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications desirable.

You will also need to have a strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety principles.
