Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing leader to join our team as a Nurse Unit Manager at Hammill House Residential Aged Care Facility in Port Pirie.
About the RoleAs a Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating nursing and personal care workers, as well as managing practice outcomes and fostering a positive workplace culture.
You will work closely with a dedicated team to deliver holistic, individualized resident care, enhancing well-being and quality of life in line with their care goals.
About the FacilityHammill House Residential Aged Care Facility is committed to providing comprehensive care for older persons, empowering residents to actively participate in their care and ensuring it aligns with their needs, choices, and wishes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate nursing and personal care workers
- Ensure continuity and quality of care for residents
- Manage practice outcomes and foster a positive workplace culture
You will be part of a progressive and values-driven leadership team focused on person-centred care, excellence, transparency, and fostering a positive workplace culture at the Port Pirie Regional Health Service.
Requirements- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current practicing certificate required
- Minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
