Job Title: Social Media and Content Specialist

 

We are seeking an experienced Social Media and Content Specialist to lead the creation and execution of engaging content that grows our brands across various platforms. As a key member of our team, you will balance hands-on creativity with strategic thinking, planning, and capturing scroll-stopping content in the outdoors while also leveraging data and insights to refine performance and demonstrate impact.

 

About the Role:

  • Plan and schedule social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Create engaging video, photo, and written content (including Reels/TikTok etc. with tools like CapCut).
  • Identify, engage, and manage influencer relationships and community engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate and attend content shoots and campouts (min 10 per year – all expenses covered).
  • Track, analyse, and report on campaign performance to inform future strategy.
  • Support eCommerce campaigns and affiliate marketing.
  • Stay across social trends and adapt our approach to keep us at the forefront.
  • Collaborate with Product, Creative, and Sales teams to ensure content reflects brand goals.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in managing social media for medium to large businesses, ideally across multiple brands.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing content strategies that drive growth.
  • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills.
  • Hands-on video editing skills (CapCut or similar tools).
  • Experience using Meta Business Suite, analytics, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects.
  • A love of the outdoors—comfortable spending time at campouts, photoshoots, and product launches.
  • Experience with Shopify and Rakuten affiliate platforms would be beneficial.
