Job Description

We are seeking a talented Graduate Social Media Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our digital marketing department, you will be responsible for creating engaging content across various social media platforms.

Your role will involve planning and scheduling content, writing captivating captions, designing static content, capturing and editing video content, sourcing imagery and audio, and participating in brainstorming sessions to support wider campaign strategies.

In addition, you will contribute to community engagement by monitoring comments, messages, and mentions, conducting competitor research, and assisting in compiling monthly content performance reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field;
  • Solid understanding of key social media platforms, trends, and content formats;
  • Strong videography and video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software;
  • Experience creating Reels or TikToks, even for personal or university projects;
  • Graphic design skills using Canva, with Adobe Creative Suite being a bonus;
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting ability;
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and high attention to detail;
