Senior Research Governance and Ethics Officer

Join the Royal Melbourne Hospital team as a Senior Research Governance and Ethics Officer and take your career to the next level in clinical research.

About the Role

This senior-level position will provide you with the opportunity to work closely with the Governance and Ethics Office Managers to deliver approvals across our submission portfolio. You will also be responsible for leading aspects of the Expedited and Priority Review submission pathways for our stakeholders.

As a key member of the Office for Research, you will work in close partnership with all operational areas to provide an excellent on-the-job training environment suitable for a successful career in clinical research. You will also promote a strong customer service culture at one of Australia's leading public health service providers.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Governance and Ethics Office Managers to deliver approvals across our submission portfolio
  • Lead aspects of the Expedited and Priority Review submission pathways for our stakeholders
  • Work in close partnership with all Office for Research operational areas to provide an excellent on-the-job training environment
  • Promote a strong customer service culture
About You

You are a customer-focused individual with a strong working knowledge and expertise in human research ethics and research governance. You have a robust background in the regulatory and quality requirements of the sector and are a team-minded individual with a strong attention to detail.

You are an enabler who is passionate about supporting the clinical research workforce and promoting a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
