Visual Merchandising Lead

This pivotal role is central to driving visual merchandising strategies that captivate, engage and convert.

Reporting to the Head of Space Planning & Visual Merchandise, you will ensure our displays are not only brand-aligned but also commercially impactful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver visually compelling in-store merchandising strategies across all store formats
  • Develop seasonal display guidelines and practical toolkits that empower store teams
  • Collaborate with key teams to align visual execution with promotional and product strategies
  • Evaluate planogram compliance and scheduling alongside Space Planning
  • Lead visual projects including new store openings, refurbishments and major layout updates
  • Coach and support stores with training and best-practice merchandising standards
  • Manage and deploy a team of Merchandise Coordinators across projects and ongoing store support
  • Champion brand consistency, ticketing standards and impactful customer experience through visual storytelling
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in visual merchandising, ideally within large-format or multi-category retail
  • A strong eye for detail, customer flow and impactful retail display principles
  • Leadership experience with a proven ability to guide and influence both central and field-based teams
  • Proficiency in visual merchandising and planogram software (Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to connect creativity with sales outcomes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel regularly across our national store network
