Education Support Class Member

We are seeking an individual to assist teachers in the coordination of educational programs, provide routine support for students, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers with lesson planning and student routines
  • Enhance communication between teachers, parents, and students
  • Provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students
  • Facilitate communication with students to support comprehension of basic tasks and information
  • Address immediate behavioural presentations related to specific students within a classroom setting
  • Offer basic support and supervision for individuals or groups of up to 4 students within a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with teachers in coordinating educational programs independently or under minimal supervision
  • Provide medical intervention support to students under specific conditions with appropriate training and guidance

Requirements:

  • Aptitude, experience, and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
