Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Learning Development and Support team as a Junior School Leader.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with additional needs and developing effective learning strategies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and proactive individual who can work effectively with teachers, students, and parents to achieve outstanding educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the College Head of Learning Development and Support in leading the Learning Development and Support Faculty, focusing on students from Prep-4.
  • Oversee the provision of support required for students with additional needs, consistent with the DEXIA model.
  • Attend and minute Student Support Group meetings.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet individual student needs.
  • Provide test interpretation and data analysis to inform student progress.
  • Oversee the roles and responsibilities of all staff within the faculty, including LD&S staff timetables, induction of new staff, and performance development processes.
  • Assist teachers with designing, implementing, and assessing support programs.
  • Represent the LD&S faculty at school-based staff meetings.

Capacity to use analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes.
