Your New Role

You will be part of our Audit Function and report to the Senior Manager. You will conduct independent reviews both autonomously and as a team member, covering risk management, process improvement, control assessment, and governance processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review key processes and evaluate the risk and control environment using AU GA Methodology.
  • Determine the extent of compliance with established policies, procedures, and legislated practices.
  • Improve review quality through thorough understanding of events affecting the business at micro and macro levels.
  • Raise issues and results of audits and communicate these with Line and Senior Managers.
  • Assess action plans proposed by Management and provide solutions where required.
  • Deliver completed audit assignments within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain effective professional relationships with stakeholders during and outside formal audit assignments.

About You

You need:
– A tertiary qualification in a business field or equivalent experience.
– Eligibility in professional accounting bodies and a commitment to continuing professional development.
– Minimum three years of internal auditing experience (external audit experience from a Big 4 environment will also be considered).
– Intellectual curiosity and professional scepticism to understand organisation and operational processes.
– Well-developed interpersonal and effective communication skills including a high standard of business report writing.
– Ability to interact with individuals from various backgrounds and levels within the organisation.
– Ability to work independently.
