About the Role

As a Class Preparation Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in our commercial kitchen and hospitality faculty. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and improve hygiene and safety standards in relevant areas and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with food storage and disposal guidelines.
  • Set up classrooms and prepare meals according to our kitchen's quality control standards.

For this role, we are looking for someone who is passionate about maintaining exceptional hygiene and food safety standards. The ideal candidate should be hands-on in managing equipment levels and ensuring quality control in our kitchens, cool rooms, freezers, and dry store areas.

Requirements:
  • A Certificate II in Hospitality or equivalent skills, knowledge, and experience.
  • Strong understanding of food handling and safe work practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant consumables and equipment.

Desirable attributes include:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
  • Unrestricted driver's license.
