Nurse Educator Opportunity

Casual nurse educators are crucial to our mission of equipping students with the skills to excel as professional nurses. We value educators who are passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on nursing education.
Key Responsibilities:- Delivering and Teaching Content: Develop and teach nursing program content using flexible learning modes to accommodate student needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Mentorship: Guide students in understanding Codes and Standards of Professional Practice relating to nursing.
- Effective Learning Technology Utilization: Embed learning technology effectively in design and delivery.
- Student-Centered Learning: Engage in active and positive education practices, maintaining an inclusive learning environment.
- Ongoing Assessment Support: Provide support for students to successfully complete assessment tasks.
- Tertiary Qualification in Nursing: Possess a tertiary qualification in nursing.
- Nursing Registration: Hold current Division 1 Nurse Registration with AHPRA.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment: Have a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with LLN competency or any postgraduate adult education qualification.
- Experience in Student-Centered Teaching: Demonstrate experience in student-centered teaching and ability to work within a professional academic team.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills and contribute to the academic and administrative environment of the faculty.
